Before each broadcast week

1. Ensure studio in working order - mics, tape, cd, md, vinal,tape recorder, decks, headphones
2. Check streaming - do a 'live test' and check in outer office

If cannot be fixed, contact HEAnet

During Broadcast

1. Maintain studio in working order
2. Emergency help if station off air

Teaching

1. Provide classes on equipment / production
2. Train in committee on equipment
3. Podcasting etc classes

General Duties

1. Select equipment for grant app, purchase and replacement
2. Develop technical strategy for station
3. Stay in contact with HEA
4. Ensure streamin and on air broadcast ok
5. Maintain PC's - source software, defrag, spyware, virus's, disk space etc
6. Liaise with Chair and Senior Producer about station decisions
